16 Things

1. I left college in 2007 because I felt like I was wasting my money. I auditioned for a show a couple weeks later and I got the job, and I’ve been in theatre ever since and I love it. I plan to go back to school someday, but I sometimes wonder what for, because I’d shift majors and take up Theatre anyway.

2. I plan to start learning sight singing this year.

3. I once trained and worked as a Director of Photography. I never got paid for it, though, since we were mainly doing independent short films.

4. I want to learn how to cook this year, too.

5. The last video game console that anyone got for me was the original PlayStation. It doesn’t work anymore.

6. When I’m in the right mood, I enjoy walking long distances.

7. When I seriously need to think or calm down, I take long walks.

8. I’ve heard about people with my job getting injured while working, and I sometimes wonder when I’ll injure myself in a show.

9. I don’t like it when people pinch my nose.

10. I used to go crazy when people touched my monitor screen. Nowadays I beat up my old tired monitor just so it would display the picture. Pathetic. I’m thinking of hooking up my PC to the HDTV in my room, but I’m having second thoughts about that.

11. I spent the holiday season in a foreign country alone because I didn’t want to spend it alone at home. I thought it would be more fun if I traveled. As a result, I got a serious case of wanderlust.

12. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have a twin.

13. I like making online friends. It makes the world smaller.

14. I want and need a car. I’m sick of commuting. But first, I must learn to drive a stick-shift.

15. I’m 22 and I sometimes feel like I need to hurry and make my mark as early as possible, because I feel like I’m getting old.

16. Whenever I know that I have to socialize with a bunch of people, I take a deep breath and mentally (and emotionally) flick on a switch before I actually do it.
